Life in Camp 4 

This is Camp 4 in Yosemite and a good example of climber's etiquette. Yes the table is on fire! These guys started their stove by priming it with a little too much white-gas and gusto. Eating is a top priority after the big walls and getting the food going is first on the list.

Camp 4 is a special place. Many of the best climbers in the world have spent a great deal of time in camp 4.  ; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camp_4_(Yosemite). I know several climbers that have really interesting stories while in Camp 4 or other secluded areas. The idea is to have fun but don't get arrested. Once I climbed with a former Yosemite guide in hiding just out of the death-zone (20 feet from the wall) of El Cap. He was wanted by the authorities although I didn't know it at the time.
